This has been a great week for address and name changes and we even found a couple of our "lost" exes.  Or maybe they found us.  Sure makes for a nice week and we do appreciate all the help we can get keeping our records updated.

Timi Jane Wood, Class of 1982 was on our "lost" list, but she must have read our website and found out she was lost.  She sent her address in New Braunfels and some great news.  She is in her second year of college and will get her associate degree in psychology in December.  She has 5 children, the oldest grown and living in New Braunfels and apparently triplets, 12 years old and another 10 year old.  Our thanks to Timi for sending along the good news and also our congratulations to her for continuing her education.

Exes mom, Lupe Hinistroza, called with a change of address for son, Eric Hinistroza, Class of 1997 in Granbury, Texas.  He is now a Navy Recruiter and settled in the United States.  Our thanks to Lupe and congratulations to Eric on his new position.

Ran into Pat and Caddie Kasner Logan, Classes of 1949 and 1951 respectively, while we were shopping in Temple.  They both look good and are enjoying living in Temple.  Sure was good to see them.

Allyne Miertschin Summerlin, Class of 1934 was reading our article in the newspaper and it reminded her to call in the address changes of her granddaughters.  She gave us Melinda Summerlin O'Sullivan, Class of 1998 in Round Rock and Charlotte Summerlin (soon to be Tonsor), Class of 1993 in Austin.  Our many thanks to Allyne for remembering us with these changes.

Barbara Rosenthal Hargrove, Class of 1962 called and we had such a nice phone visit.  She wanted anyone who reads our article to know that she hasn't moved but gets her mail in Buckholts.  She lives in the Sharp Community where she has always lived.  She's looking for a 1962 annual if anyone wants to get rid of one.  We discussed the news of her bringing Ann Rosenthal Burnett, Class of 1929 of Eliasville to Homecoming this year.  We appreciate the call and the information.

Our thanks to Adam Fisher, Class of 1995 of Round Rock for sending in the change of address of his cousin, Nik Merz, Class of 1996 in Round Rock.  We are happy for Nik in that he now owns his home instead of renting.  All these changes save us a lot of postage when we send out our big mailing in August and we really appreciate it.

If Glen Anders, Class of 1981 of Inman, Kansas reads this article, we need the full names and addresses of Jeremy and Kathryn and the year that they would have graduated.  We never did get these two exes on our rosters and we need to add them.

We received a cute card with the change of address for the family of Bandon Daniell, Class of 1994 in Tomball.  Brandon's mom, Gayle Patschke Daniell, Class of 1977 went down and spent several days helping them move and taking care of those grandbabies.  Brandon received the Class of 1941 Memorial Scholarship and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree.  Our thanks to Brandon for the address change.

Have you seen the new State Championship basketball tee shirts??  They are so nice as coach always does a great job.  Big colored photo on the front of the team and names and numbers listed on the back.  We picked up our usual 5 so if you want one, you need to contact Coach Lieberman at school.

Daisy Moseley Caffey, Class of 1957 gave a big, triple birthday party last week.  Her husband, Eddie Guy Caffey, turned 80; Virginia Caffey Hutchinson, Class of 1952 turned 74; and great grandbaby, Angel, turned 1.  Angel is the grandbaby of Stanley Caffey, Class of 1980 of Rockdale.  Our good wishes to all.

We received a real surprise e-mail from Kathleen Harris Moore, Class of 1970 with her address and her mom, Ruby Murray Harris, Class of 1937 lives with her in Hico.  They have lived in Hico for the past 5 years.  What a thrill to find these "lost" exes as we rarely find them after they are lost.  Brings back memories as I lived in Hico many, many years ago.  Our many thanks to Kathy for sending their address along and the news, too.

There was such a great colored photo of the "changing of the guard" at Rodenbeck Farm and Ranch in the newspaper.  Owners Marvin "Dusty" Rodenbeck, Class of 1950 and wife, Mildred Schneider Rodenbeck, Class of 1954 turned over the reins to grandson, Barton "Trey" Felton III on Monday, March 31.  It was such a good article along with the photo of the history of the Rodenbecks and the "secret" sausage recipe that will be continued for generations to come.  Our congratulations to Trey and our little town is blessed once again.
