This year we have started sending a homework folder home
at the beginning of each week.  This folder contains an activity
or paper for each day and a page for you to sign as assignments
are completed.  Your child will also be bringing home a book to
read 3 or 4 times a week.  You are encouraged to assist, but
please do not do the work for your child.  This gives me a
better idea of what my students have learned and also gives
them a sense of pride in their own accomplishments.
