Homework Expectations

Reading Sight Words are to be reviewed daily until the words are mastered. Once the student has mastered the sight words they only need to be reviewed periodically.
Books that are taken home are to be read out loud to an adult.

Spelling The spelling list and sentences are given out on Monday. The words and sentences will be tested each Friday. It is important that the student can spell and understand each of the words.

Math Math Facts will accrue from the beginning of the year. Students are expected to practice these math facts until they have them memorized. Once a child has mastered a set of math facts, they only need to be review periodically.
Side B of the math worksheet is to be completed at home and checked be the parent and/or guardian.
