Mrs. Hodges Classroom Rules
Thorndale High School
Thorndale ISD

The goal of classroom expectations to provide a classroom for students conducive to learning.

1.  Students will show respect for teacher, school property and other students.  This means  no talking while the teacher or another student is talking.

2.  Students are responsible for cleaning up any mess they make while participating in an activity or lab.  They are also responsible for taking care of their own belongings. Students are not allowed to leave materials (books, notebooks, etc)  in classroom.

3. Students are to be in the classroom and their seat when the bell rings or they will be marked tardy.  Students are to remain in seats until the dismissal bell rings.

4. My desk and chair are not for your personal use.  Students are not to use things on or in my desk or the classroom computers without permission.

5.  Students need to bring pen, paper, notebook and textbook to class.

6.  Profanity and use of vulgar talk or subject matter are not acceptable in this classroom.

7.  Students are expected to use class time as instructed by teacher.  (Example:  If time is given to complete an assignment, you do not have the option of doing it later.)

8.  Cheating and plagiarism will result in failure of the assignment.

9.  When not in attendance in this class, it is the responsibility of the student to get all missed assignments and make up work within two days.

10.  Refrigerators and cupboards are completely off limits to students except during labs.
