This year I will be teaching a Career Studies course to seniors.  I am interested in having guest speakers come to the classroom and talk or share with the class about their occupations.

    I am also interested in using parent volunteers to share a special skill in the classroom.  For instance someone who does floral arrangements might do a demonstration in my interior design class, or a parent that sells kitchen products might do a demonstration with kitchen tools in a foods class.  These are just some examples.
 
  Often the projects done in FCCLA require some parental assistance.  This can be a way for parents to develop relationships with their child as they work side by side..  Some of these project might include fundraisers, Christmas float, or parent sponsors for trips to regional or state conferences.  I will post specific needs throughout the year.  If you are interested in helping with any of these projects, please let me know.
