General Guidelines
I require that most work in my classes will be done in class. If a student has difficulty completing a project or assignment that they have worked on in class, they may work on a project outside of class. Students will not have the option of completing an assignment at home when they did not use class time to work on their project.
Occasionally
I will give students a homework assignment or project to be completed at
home. Each semester every high school Family and Consumer Science
student is required to do a Supervised Occupational Activity. See
guidelines below for Supervised Occupational Activity.
Supervised Occupational Activity
All high school students in Family and Consumer Science are expected to do a Supervised Occupational Activity. This project should include an activity that the student has never done before and should in some way be related to an occupation. It may be a classroom activity. Below are a few examples of the project:
