There
are four basic rules that should govern the student at all times in the
classroom and throughout the school. The student is expected to:
1. Respect the rights of others.
2. Use appropriate behavior at all times.
3. Always finish assignments on time
and do it to the best of his
or her ability.
4. Be careful with books and materials
and to conserve where
possible.
While
most second graders can readily follow these rules, the discipline policy
for those who cannot is as follows:
First offense: a warning
Second offense: student misses 5 minutes of recess
Third offense: child misses 8 minutes of recess and may have to do
some form of writing or practice work
Fourth offense: note to parent or conference
