Homework Policies

Homework is assigned every night, Monday-Thursday, for students working in the Saxon math program.  Sometimes students are allowed to finish the assignment in class in which case they do not write it in their assignment books.  Other homework is assigned as needed and should be listed in the assignment book.  Spelling tests are every Friday, and spelling words should come home on Monday.

Students should each have a black speckled Mead assignment book.  Students take the assignment book home every day Monday-Thursday.  Their homework assignments will be listed under the current date, and parents should sign or initial the book after their child has done all of their homework.  This should be done every night, even if the student does not have homework.  Any important notes or messages will also be in the assignment book.  Failure to bring the assignment book signed will result in the student's name being put on the board or their folder being coded.  Failure to complete homework will also result in a name up or a code.
