Greetings Bulldogs! Happy Thursday. This is a friendly reminder that we have no school tomorrow (3/29/24).

TISD Bond Community Meeting:

I want to thank the folks who came out to our Bond Community Presentation on March 20th. We had great conversations and great questions were asked by all.

If you missed the meeting and would still like to hear about the bond proposal I encourage you to join us on April 18th, 2024 at 6pm at the VFW Hall. It is a repeat of the first session.

The Bulldog Band!
The Band performed yesterday at the Region 18/26 UIL Concert & Sight-reading Evaluation in Bastrop and had an outstanding performance. They received straight 1's for their stage performance and straight 1's in the sight-reading room. This, combined with the first division from the marching contest earned the band its 8th consecutive Sweepstakes Award!

Art Students Beautify the Thorndale City Pool!

Next time you drive by the Thorndale City Pool, peak through the fence at the amazing art work of our TISD Students! They did an amazing job.

TISD Powerlifting @ STATE:

Kudos to our girls and boys powerlifting for both reaching the state level! Also, I would like to give a huge shout-out to their coaches; Coach Barker and Coach Clay. They give countless hours and even their weekend to coach and travel with our students to compete.

Jordan Stutts wins STATE with the following:

• Squat - 405 - State Record!
• Bench - 220
• Deadlift - 310
• Her total weight lifted was 935lbs

Kaleb Yount wins STATE (308 wt class) with the following:

• 670 lb squat
• 535 lb bench - State record
• 585 lb deadlift, 
• Total 1,790.

Deven Cuba wins 5th place (220 wt class)

• 600 squat
• 400 bench
• 560 deadlift, 
• 1,560 total.

Thorndale ISD Baseball and Softball is still red HOT!

• The boy's team is currently 6-1 in district
• The girl’s team is 8-0 and leading the district
