Greetings Bulldogs! Happy Friday.

We have some REALLY exciting financial news to share that I think everyone is going to want to hear firsthand. 

Please plan on joining us for as many meetings as your calendar allows.

TISD Bass Club:

The Thorndale Bass Club hit the water this past weekend, fishing against a tough field of 84 teams. We had seven teams representing the Bulldogs!

Two teams made it to the scales:

   •    Colby McAnulty and Grayson Stoecklein weighed in 4 fish for 8.29 lbs, landing an 11th place finish!

   •    Brady Unnasch and Colton McDonald brought in 1 fish for 1.40 lbs, finishing 45th overall.

 

Band:

 We are super proud of The Fightin’ Band from Bulldog Land as the finished Marching season in the Top 7 in the entire Area.

Basketball Season Starts!

Volleyball:

Volleyball took on Somerville in the Bi-District playoff game and won convincingly in 3 sets. Next, they traveled to Giddings to take on a tough Flatonia team, which is where their season came to an end.

Cross Country:

Our Lady Dogs represented TISD very well! The girls put up fast times against a super-talented field. Please help me congratulate our 3 athletes in their journey to State:
 

•  Raven Sandoval - 25th
•  Skielee Bear - 48th
•  Nadia Gonzalez - 91st

Football:

Varsity Football

• Varsity takes on Holland for the final district game as they clinch a playoff birth and hope to finish in the top 2 places in the district!
• Varsity had another convincing win last week on Halloween night! The boys finished 33-12 against Harper on 10/31.
• Varsity beat Johnson city 47-0 on 10/23.

Thursday Night Football Teams:

Vs. Holland:

• 7th Grade – Won 14-0
• 8th Grade – Won 20-14
• JV – Beat Chilton 32-6

Vs. Harper:

• 7th Grade: Won 34-6
• 8th Grade: Fell 28-16
• JV: Won 8-0

Vs. Johnson City:

• 7th – Won 16-8
• 8th – Won 36-16
• JV – Won 28-20
