2022-2023 Community Meetings

Thorndale ISD hosted the first Community Involvement meeting on October 5th. The members toured the TES campus, heard from students, observed classroom instruction and met with Principal Young. Thank you to each member for being a vital part of Thorndale ISD and our future. Looking forward to the next meeting in December! 

TES Community Involvement Meeting


The second Community Involvement meeting occurred on Wednesday, December 7th. The Community Members had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Ivy – Superintendent, Rebecca Peel – Business Manager and the Technology Department – Lindsay Franklin and Deby Leschber. This meeting focused on past, current and possible future projects for Thorndale ISD. They learned more about the financial needs of TISD and how projects can/will be funded. Thank you to each member for being a vital part of Thorndale ISD and our future. Looking forward to the next meeting in February!

 

TISD Community Involvement

 


The third Community Involvement meeting occurred February 15th. Principal Frei spoke with the Community Members about the opportunities at TMS, students spoke about their experiences as a student and six different classrooms were observed. A tour of all the TMS facilities occurred.  Thank you to each member for being a vital part of Thorndale ISD and our future. Looking forward to the next meeting in April! 

TMS Community Meeting


The last Community Involvement meeting occurred yesterday, April 12th. The Community Members had the opportunity to speak with Principal Parnham, hear from THS student leaders, speak with School Board President, David Hall and visit multiple classrooms. They had the opportunity to see the amazing things happening inside the classroom while also understanding the needs the teachers and students face.

Thank you to each member for being a vital part of Thorndale ISD and our future. We appreciate each of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to learn more about TISD. We value your input, questions and time. It has been a pleasure having you apart of our team!

Also a huge thank you to the FCCLA students and Mrs. Ensor for providing a delicious breakfast for our meeting.
